Title: CIE Measurement Explanation Can someone please explain, or point me towards an explanation of, what the 2 degree and 10 degree Observers are for the CIE colorimetry standards. Our client, a development engineer, is searching for high speed optic analog aquisition cards.At the moment, He is developping a measurement system to measure the resistance of automotive connectors under vibration influence (Short time intermittencies).Due to EMC- Immunity, he wants to transmit the analog resistance signals optically. His aquisition unit could either convert from fiber to copper again and use some electrical digitizers or he could use digitizer with fiber input. In that case he doesn't have to develop his own converters. One of our client, an DWDM components producer, is currently seeking for a supplier specialized in gold plating. The needs are to gold plate tubes and end caps used to manufacture our optical components. Tube and end cap material are respectively INVAR and BRASS (We can send drawings for details). Plating thickness is specified in our Product Material sheet (could be sent also).Supplier around the world will be considered. ISO 9000 certification is an asset.If selected, a pre-production run will be required to validate and modify (if required) the quality requirements. Printing of information on the tubes is done by the buyer. However, the buyer is interested to sub-contract this operation. If you are also specialized in ink printing, a complete package will be considered by the buyer. Printing consists of a 7 digits serial number. Our client, a researcher in Germany, is looking for diffraction gratings (Dammann grating) which create up to 8 spots (4 would also be fine) of equal intensity in a line, which are produced in replication technology.So, his aim is to have a few spots of same intensity.
